Fiberglass Filtration & Shunt Combo Basket is woven with special high-twist & high-strength alkali-free fiberglass and special post-treatment. Its withstand temperature up to 1000 °C. 

Apply to filter and evenly distribute molten aluminum in molds.

SIX Steps of Production Process

1. WOVEN FABRIC-Woven by alkali free fiberglass yarn and woven looms.

2. HEAT SETTING-After woven process, fabric mesh is needed to be heat setting in order to keep horizontal and vertical.

3. COAT RESIN-Then white fabric mesh is needed to be coated with special resin, which can make it tough enough, finally, it will become brown.

4. MOULD CUTTING-Fiberglass mesh will be packed on the mould and scew the sides. This is quite important step during the whole process.

5. HIGH-TEMP CARBONIZE-Final step is high temperature carbonization. This is the most important process. The key points are temperature and time. Can't be more or less and must be absolute precision.

6. PACKAGE-Packed in cartons and pallets.

Main Functions

● Helps to reduce the turbulence of metal flow and improve the temperature distribution throughout the mold volume.

● Filter the molten metal and decrease in non-metallic inclusions and oxide films in the liquid metal. 

● Improve mechanical quality of aluminum casting product. 

● Improve the hardness of aluminum casting product with more average surface hard and bending strength. 

Comparing to other filter Baskets, it does not affect the component of aluminum alloy, and with good filtration effect, high temperature resistance, high strength, excellent acid and alkali resistance, non-stick aluminum, non-slagging, non-peeling, as well as easy installation.
